Easy lists first:

Top five ways to let off steam:

1) DDR
2) Gym
3) Tea
4) Whiskey
5) Futurama reruns

Top five Radiohead albums:

1) OK Computer
2) The Bends
3) Kid A
4) My Iron Lung (yes, I know it's technically an EP)
5) Amnesiac

(note: I've never owned/listened to all of Pablo Honey)

Top five dreams I've let die:

Wow, that's a cheery one. And I'm happy to say I really couldn't think of any. Beyond being a professional baseball player, which stopped around the age of twelve or so. Or suddenly being gifted with magical powers, which keeps me out of the way of radioactive beams.

I'm too young and unattached to start giving up on any dreams. Otherwise, I'd take it as a sign to stop having them altogether.

There's a rather circuitous reason that I have for bringing up the smallest of points, but if I don't bring it up immediately then it will probably seem stranger and more mysterious than it is and you'll probably want to know anyway, so I'll just describe in too-great detail why I'm saying any of this at all:

I saw your list of top 5 Radiohead albums completely ignored Hail to the Thief, which I honestly would rate as third. Thinking that you probably had some sort of intense hatred for the disc, I figured that maybe if I scanned back to entries in July and August of 2003 that you would've dropped a rather amusing, vitriol-spiked post about how shite you thought it was. I found no such thing, but I did find a few posts about looking for temp jobs. And I found that you interviewed at (and were not impressed with) Venturi.

Dude, Venturi sucks. Totally. I applied for a position that they advertised, and they called me in for an interview and made me wait for an HOUR, gave me a generic typing test, and then tried to talk me into sales jobs (PRECISELY what I'm NOT looking for). I told him this, but he pressed on that sales is a great job that too many people refuse to do. I tell him I know that I'm not a salesman and that I'm actually trying to get OUT of sales, not into more of it. When I inquired about the job I initially applied for--something I found on craigslist of all places, so it should've been current--he completely played dumb and acted as if he had no idea what I was talking about. I ignored all the calls I got from them after that.

Wow, I never experienced anything that terrible with them. They mostly just gave me increidbly boring data entry jobs. However, The Skill Bureau and Hollister were much better in giving me jobs I actually liked.

As for Hail to the Thief, I don't hate it per se. It was just the first Radiohead album to leave no impression on me whatsoever. Granted, I haven't given it a listen in over a year, but I just remember being really bored trying to give the album a chance.

Hi. I'm probably the hugest Radiohead fan I know (I... like... compare all music to them) and I have a hard time picking what my favorite albums are because my favorite aren't necessarily their best. However, I LOVE debating the topic and happened across you via the man [info]angryjonny. I'd argue their best is tied at OK Computer and Kid A for the same reason: they deconstructed music... or what is thought of as rock n roll at least. I'm emotionally attatched to The Bends so would put it up there as a favorite (but again, it's like picking a favorite child...I just can't pick nor commit). Pablo Honey is almost always ignored, but songs such as Blow Out could've easily appeared on any one of their albums post Pablo... even Kid A. Good call on My Iron Lung. I would def put HTTT before Amnesiac, but I think songs from Amnesiac played live surpass live songs from HTTT. I cannot fucking wait until next spring to see what they do next.

ANYWAY... Props to you for being able to order the albums! I'm still working on it... :)
